1. Accept the Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms of Service") apply to users who purchase products using the Site and Services (each such user, a "Service").

香港綠通科技有限公司 (Hong Kong Convery Green Limited) offers a number of services on its website that are operated and managed by 香港綠通科技有限公司 (Hong Kong Convery Green Limited). These services enable users of the Website (hereinafter referred to as "Users") to purchase second-hand fashion products (hereinafter referred to as "Products"). These services are available directly on the website. 香港綠通科技有限公司 (Hong Kong Convery Green Limited) offers products for sale directly on its own behalf.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you.

In these Terms and Conditions, these entities are individually and collectively referred to as "香港綠通科技有限公司 (Hong Kong Convery Green Limited)," "we," "us," or "our."

These terms and conditions shall prevail over 香港綠通科技有限公司 (Hong Kong Convery Green Limited) and any other general or special terms and conditions not expressly approved by the User. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the FAQ section of the Site, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

These Terms of Service require that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive your right to participate in any class or other representative proceeding or class arbitration.

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to conduct any transactions on the Website. This website is not directed to, and must not be accessed by, children under the age of thirteen (13).

These Terms of Service may be supplemented, where applicable, by the terms governing the Shipping Services. If such additional contractual terms apply, they shall be deemed to be incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. The Website Terms of Use apply to all users in any event, at any time, and under any circumstances. By purchasing products on our site, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you may not purchase any products on our website.

2. Changes to the Terms of Service

We may modify and update these Terms of Service from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of revised Terms of Service will constitute your acceptance and agreement to those changes. You are expected to check this page from time to time so that you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you. See clause 10 for further details.

3. STYLE NEW STAR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Images of our products that appear in the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product or service we offer. All product descriptions or product pricing are subject to change without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

4. Buyer places order

Prices for products sold on the Website include Commission (as defined in the Seller Terms and Conditions) and taxes but do not include any additional charges such as inspection fees, shipping charges and duties (such additional charges are referred to together with any other charges that may apply as "additional charges"), which should be noted separately. Additional charges may include certain shipping taxes and duties imposed by some countries. In any event, before Buyer places an order, the total amount due shall be set forth in the order summary (the "Order").

Placing an order by the buyer is equivalent to signing a sales contract, subject to the conditions precedent, and STYLE NEW STAR has the right to cancel the order and refund the buyer.

5. Delivery and customs fees

Orders shall be delivered to Buyer by a STYLE NEW STAR approved carrier.

Shipping charges for products ordered will vary based on carrier rates and the country to which the order is delivered; however, if there are special handling considerations or unusual products or orders, special shipping charges may apply. Buyer should be informed promptly of any special shipping charges when placing order.

Shipping charges may be revised from time to time to conform to the rates charged by the carrier. Shipping charges applicable to a specific order shall be those specified prior to order approval.

Any customs duties shall be borne by the Buyer. Any applicable customs duties (the amount of which shall vary according to the country of delivery) shall be added to the total amount payable for the Products before placing an order, and the Buyer shall not be required to pay any further customs duties after receiving the Products.

6. Receipt and Inspection of Orders

The Buyer must inspect (or instruct an authorized person receiving the Products on behalf of the Buyer to inspect) the apparent condition of the Product packaging before signing the form submitted by the carrier.

In the event of apparent anomalies (damage, missing Products, damaged packages or Products, etc.), the Buyer or its representative must clearly state the reservation on the delivery note, including: indicating the number of packages and/or Products missing and/or damaged, and a detailed description of the damage (open or torn packaging, damaged or missing Products, etc.). The Buyer must keep all items delivered in the condition in which they were received (i.e., all accessories, the original condition of other items received with these Products, and the sealed Product forms).

The Buyer must keep a copy of the delivery note and attach it to an email sent to STYLE NEW STAR within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt of the Products to confirm the anomaly.

If the Buyer does not receive the Product, the Buyer must notify STYLE NEW STAR within forty-eight (48) hours of the estimated delivery date of the Product or after the Product is marked as delivered. The Buyer shall send any documentation requested by STYLE NEW STAR to support the claim.

If postal proceedings are initiated, STYLE NEW STAR reserves the right to (i) extend the 30-day delivery period for the Product, and (ii) withhold the refund of the Product until the carrier completes the postal proceedings.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 General Payment Terms

The Buyer must pay the Price and all applicable additional fees through STYLE NEW STAR's secure payment system, bank card, PayPal system. Convenience store payments are supported in Hong Kong.

In order to pay using PayPal, the Buyer must have a PayPal account; the Buyer shall then be subject to PayPal's Terms of Use, which can be viewed on the PayPal website by selecting the appropriate country on the page displayed by clicking here. Please note that PayPal's Terms of Use may vary by country.

STYLE NEW STAR allows the Buyer to save their VISA and MasterCard details (for payments in GBP and USD) in their account.

STYLE NEW STAR shall notify the Buyer by email once the amount paid by the Buyer has been received and processed.

However, we may carry out verification procedures with the Buyer by telephone or email in order to confirm the order before dispatching the Products and this may involve requesting additional evidence where necessary.

Depending on the verification procedures that may be carried out, the Buyer's order may be rejected if the verification procedures indicate that deliberate errors and/or fraudulent actions have been taken in relation to the order. In such case, STYLE NEW STAR shall inform the Buyer by email of the action taken and if the Buyer has already paid, STYLE NEW STAR will automatically refund the Buyer's payment.

7.2 Currency on STYLE NEW STAR

The Seller can purchase Products on the Website in the local currency of his/her choice. STYLE NEW STAR processes payments in supported currencies. If the currency is not supported, STYLE NEW STAR may be contacted for enquiries.

Buyers can view prices in any currency supported by STYLE NEW STAR.

Coupons

From time to time, STYLE NEW STAR may issue coupons via email (or other electronic means), the use of which is subject to the following conditions:

  • Coupons are only available for use on the STYLE NEW STAR Site by users who have registered for a STYLE NEW STAR account;
  • Coupons may only be used on eligible items that have not been withdrawn from the Site or are not subject to cancellation in the event of a sale;
  • Coupons are not transferable, redeemable, refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash under any circumstances;
  • STYLE NEW STAR is not responsible for coupons that are lost, stolen, deleted, or used without the permission of the registered user;
  • Coupons may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion;
  • Coupons are only applicable to the purchase price of the item and are not applicable to applicable certification fees, shipping charges, duties or taxes; and
  • Unless otherwise specified, coupons may only be used once (1) and must be used within the time period specified when issued, if any.

In addition to the foregoing, STYLE NEW STAR may specify additional conditions for the use of coupons on STYLE NEW STAR from time to time.

STYLE NEW STAR reserves the right to cancel or set an expiration date for any issued coupon, including in the following circumstances:

  • The coupon is not used strictly in accordance with the conditions of use;
  • STYLE NEW STAR suspects that the coupon has been misused or abused; or applicable privacy regulations require deletion of a user's account due to inactivity.

8. Claims and Returns
8.1 Final Sale Principle
All sales are final. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are not accepted, except for the sole exception of a "Wrong Item" as explicitly defined in Section 8.2 below. As a professional buyer, you are expected to thoroughly review all product information provided (including, but not limited to, multi-angle images, detailed descriptions, specifications, and condition reports) and conduct your own prudent verification before placing an order and making payment.

8.2 Sole Exception: Wrong Item
A "Wrong Item" is strictly defined as an item that objectively differs from the model, colour, or size specified in your order confirmation. The following circumstances do NOT constitute a Wrong Item:

  • Colour variations due to monitor display settings or photography lighting.

  • Reasonable measurement tolerances.

  • Minor signs of prior use consistent with industry standards and the product description.

  • Any subjective reasons (e.g., dislike, change of mind) or buyer-related reasons (e.g., mis-click, duplicate order).

8.3 Wrong Item Rectification Procedure
If you believe you have received a Wrong Item, you must:
a) Submit a formal request by email to stylenewstar.hk@outlook.com within 2 calendar days of the signed delivery date (based on carrier records).
b) The email must contain complete information and evidence; otherwise, the request will not be processed:

  • Email Subject: After-Sales Request – [Your Order Number]

  • Email Body: Order number, tracking number, detailed description of the discrepancy, recipient information, and contact phone number.

  • Must Provide: A complete, unedited unboxing video and clear multi-angle photos/videos showing the outer shipping box label, internal packaging, the item itself, and all tags/accessories.
    c) You must not ship the item back without prior written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from us. Unauthorized returns will be refused at the receiving point, and no refund or exchange obligation will be incurred.

8.4 Non-receipt or Lost in Transit
If you do not receive your order by the specified delivery date (or within 30 days if no date was specified), please contact us for investigation. If the carrier confirms the parcel was lost in transit, we will initiate the claims process with the carrier and process a refund to you upon receipt of the claim payout.

9. Terms Applicable to Returns (Applicable only to authorized Wrong Item returns)

All authorized returns must be made through our designated carrier. Returned items must be brand new, unused, and in their original packaging with all accessories, tags, and labels intact. If a returned item is found to be in non-compliant condition, was returned without authorization, or is ultimately verified not to be a Wrong Item due to the buyer's error, all related costs (including round-trip shipping, handling fees, duties, etc.) shall be borne by the buyer.

For all returns

Any user who wishes to return a product must make a request using the FAQ contact form on http://shop.stylenewstar.com.

Returns should be made through STYLE NEW STAR's partner carriers.

Products should be returned to STYLE NEW STAR at the following address: 4-6-15-602-Chuo Ward Minamisenba Osaka-shi Osaka Hong Kong. STYLE NEW STAR assumes no responsibility for products lost or damaged during shipping.

Any product returned due to cancellation of the initial order due to delay in delivery must be sent back by registered mail with a receipt.

STYLE NEW STAR reminds the buyer that the products must be handled with extreme care. STYLE NEW STAR reserves the right to refuse the return of damaged or incomplete products or to refund the buyer less any compensation payable for damage to the product if the damage occurred after delivery to the buyer. In addition, the Buyer shall be liable if the Products have been depreciated in value due to any treatment other than that necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and correct operation of these Products, any intentional damage, any accident or negligence of the Buyer or a third party, any use of the Products not fit for their intended purpose, any failure to follow the manufacturer's guidelines or STYLE NEW STAR's instructions, or any modification or repair without STYLE NEW STAR's prior consent.

If the cost of repairing or cleaning the returned Products is prohibitive in relation to the price of the Products, no refund will be made and STYLE NEW STAR shall store the Products at the Buyer's risk for a period of six (6) months after receipt of the Products (unless the Buyer received the Products in such condition). If the Buyer wishes to take back the returned damaged Products, he must pay 5,000 yen via PayPal with the remark "Storage Fee", which is equivalent to the reasonable, minimum storage, re-shipping and handling costs incurred by STYLE NEW STAR, and STYLE NEW STAR shall return the non-refundable Products to the Buyer upon receipt and processing of such amount.

If STYLE NEW STAR does not receive a request from the Buyer to take back his/her Products within six (6) months of receipt of the Products, STYLE NEW STAR will become the owner of the unclaimed non-refundable or returned Products (as the case may be). Such Products will then be relisted under STYLE NEW STAR's account on the Website, destroyed or donated to charity (if its conditions permit).

Miscellaneous Provisions

10. Term and Validity

Buyers will be bound by these Buyer Terms from the date they accept them when purchasing Products on the Website.

STYLE NEW STAR reserves the right to modify its Buyer Terms at any time without prior notice or explanation of its decision and without any liability. If a provision of these Buyer Terms is materially changed, users who accepted the previous version of the Buyer Terms must accept the new version of the Buyer Terms. The applicable Buyer Terms shall be the terms in effect on the date the user uses the Website and/or purchases Products.

11. Service Interruption and Revocation

In case of failure to comply with one or more of the provisions of these Buyer Terms (e.g. failure to pay any amount due within the stipulated time, or breach of these Buyer Terms), whether or not such failure is witnessed by STYLE NEW STAR, or has given rise to reasonable complaints from other users, STYLE NEW STAR may temporarily interrupt a user's access to the STYLE NEW STAR Services, e.g. pending rectification of the disputed situation.

If the violation is remediable but is not rectified within two (2) calendar days of notification of the violation witnessed by STYLE NEW STAR, STYLE NEW STAR shall be entitled to permanently ban the user from the Services. Prior to irrevocably revoking a user's access rights, an email shall be sent to the relevant user informing them of the impending action and the reasons for it, without any further formalities, although STYLE NEW STAR may demand compensation for any losses or damages it may suffer.

In addition, STYLE NEW STAR may terminate the provided Services immediately and without prior notice if the user's actions constitute a serious breach of these Buyer Terms, such as, but not limited to: opening multiple accounts, fraudulent use of payment methods, attempted fraud or any other criminal offence. Such measures do not give rise to any right to claim compensation from STYLE NEW STAR, which itself is entitled to claim compensation for any loss or damage it may suffer.

If STYLE NEW STAR permanently bans a User from the Services for reasons set out in these Terms and Conditions, any current orders will not be affected. The User will retain limited access to his or her account until these ongoing transactions are completed.

12. SMS

By consenting to 香港綠通科技有限公司’s SMS marketing in the checkout and initializing a purchase or subscribing via our subscription tools, you agree to receive recurring text notifications (for your order, including abandoned checkout reminders), text marketing offers, and transactional texts, including requests for reviews from us, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal do-not-call list.

Message frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase. If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving text marketing messages and notifications, reply with STOP to any mobile message sent from us or use the unsubscribe link we provided you within any of our messages.

You understand and agree that alternative methods of opting out, such as using alternative words or requests, will not be considered a reasonable means of opting out. We do not charge for the service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message and data rates may apply.

We have the right to modify any telephone number or short code we use to operate the service at any time. You will be notified on such occasions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

13. Questions or Concerns

14. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Buyer Terms shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to these Terms and Conditions.

If the parties fail to reach an amicable settlement of a dispute, STYLE NEW STAR and the User agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. In any event, to the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive your right to participate in any class action or other representative proceeding or class arbitration in all jurisdictions, including your home jurisdiction.
